English professor's new short story published in prestigious literary journal

Founded in 1931, Story has a distinguished history of publishing emerging and established writers. The journal is known for featuring the debut work of J.D. Salinger and Charles Bukowski, as well as early work by Tennessee Williams, Joseph Heller and Truman Capote.
Hunt’s fiction has appeared in numerous literary publications, including New England Review, The Masters Review, Craft, Grist, Portland Review and others.
His writing has also received support from the Elizabeth George Foundation, Inprint Houston and the Longleaf Writers Conference.
Hunt joined Quinnipiac this fall, where he teaches courses in fiction writing.
His publication in Story adds to an already accomplished body of work and highlights the depth of creative writing expertise he brings to the university’s English program.
