Dean Holly Raider co-chairs national council rethinking the future of the MBA

Holly Raider, dean of the School of Business, co-chairs an AACSB International council that developed a new report exploring how graduate business education can evolve to meet the changing needs of students, employers and the workplace.

The report, “Reimagining the MBA: Three Archetypes for Continued Evolution,” examines how artificial intelligence, changing career paths and employers’ growing expectations for practical skills are reshaping the future of the MBA.

Developed by AACSB’s Business Influencer Council, the report introduces three potential approaches to graduate business education: an AI-Native MBA that integrates artificial intelligence throughout the curriculum, an Agile MBA that supports flexible, lifelong learning, and an Immersion MBA that emphasizes applied learning and real-world business challenges.

The dean’s leadership in developing the report highlights her role in shaping national conversations about the future of business education and connecting academic expertise with the evolving needs of industry. By helping lead a council that brings together business school leaders and professionals from the private, public and social sectors, she is contributing to a broader effort to ensure graduate management education remains relevant, innovative and valuable to learners and employers.

Her leadership in AACSB, the global organization focused on advancing excellence in business education, also elevates Quinnipiac’s voice in discussions influencing business schools worldwide. It positions the School of Business to contribute to emerging ideas and best practices, strengthens its connections with academic and industry leaders, and reinforces Quinnipiac’s commitment to preparing graduates for a rapidly changing business environment.
