Tamilla Triantoro, of Stamford, associate professor of business analytics and information systems, received the Research Innovation & Leadership Award at the Connecticut Technology Council’s 21st annual Women of Innovation Awards on October 27 at The Woodwinds in Branford.

The awards recognize women making significant contributions to science and technology across Connecticut.

“It is inspiring to see the range of research and innovation happening across Connecticut,” Triantoro said. “I hope this recognition encourages more women to pursue their interests in technology and science and contribute their ideas to the innovations shaping our future.”

Her achievement elevates Quinnipiac’s profile among the state’s research and technology leaders and underscores the university’s role in advancing emerging technologies while preparing students to navigate an increasingly AI-driven world. It also recognizes Triantoro as a thought leader whose work helps shape conversations about how people and technology can work together to solve complex challenges.

“Professor Triantoro is a global leader shaping research and teaching about how people and technology collaborate to solve complex challenges,” said Holly Raider, dean of the School of Business at Quinnipiac. “Professor Triantoro's expertise, combined with the knowledge and experience of her colleagues in the Quinnipiac School of Business, gives students in our applied AI and analytics programs a distinctive opportunity to learn from leaders shaping this rapidly evolving field."
