We’re So Excited to Welcome You!
We are so excited to welcome you to Quinnipiac!
To ensure a smooth move-in process, incoming first-year students must sign up for a day and an available time slot online. Details are shared by email.
See the full schedule and learn more.
Chaplain: Sister Bernadette Agustin is our Catholic Chaplain. She and Sister Marie Emmanuel are on campus Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 8 p.m. and also on Sundays.

Chaplain: Kim Espinal is our Christian Chaplain. She is on campus 15 hours per week. Her office is in The DOME. Please email for an appointment.
Worship: Kim offers on-campus worship on the second Sunday of every month at 2 p.m., starting September 13. Follow the Quinnipiac Christian Fellowship on Instagram to learn more about worship times and bible studies, or use the university calendar.
Coordinator: Keren Ayalon is our coordinator of Jewish Life. She is at the Peter C. Hereld House on New Road, directly opposite the visitor parking lot of the Mount Carmel Campus, for 20 hours per week. Please email her to connect.
Worship: Shabbat services followed by a meal are offered at the Hereld House every Friday at 5 p.m. There will be special services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
Chaplain: Saad Toor is our new Muslim Chaplain. He will be on campus on Friday afternoons and evenings, as needed. His office will be in The DOME, Room 212.

Welcome, new Bobcats!
I'm Catherine Gillespie, the director of spiritual and religious life at Quinnipiac and I'm thrilled to be working with you.
This year, I am especially excited about our vibrant Catholic programming, expanded Jewish life programming, Christian bible studies, a new Muslim Chaplain, a larger Prayer Room on campus and Interfaith programming including lecture panels and short-term community social media fasts.
Not religious but spiritual? Consider joining the Meditation Club or wellness hikes at Sleeping Giant planned just for you.
Some of our local faith communities are also now providing transportation to help you stay connected to your traditions.
If we crossed paths during Orientation, you already know I'm passionate about creating a space where everyone belongs. If we haven't met yet, consider this your official invitation to stop by the Center for Religion — just past the new School of Business, nestled between the two College of Arts and Sciences buildings.
You can't miss it, and the Catholic chapel inside is stunning. Mass is celebrated every Sunday at 4 p.m.
— Catherine Gillespie, director of spiritual and religious life
Orientation is designed to assist new students with finding their way around Quinnipiac, register for classes, learn more about procedures and expectations — and start meeting fellow Bobcats. If you did not attend June Orientation, you must attend August Orientation.
Registration for Orientation is available in Q-Start, the new-student onboarding portal.
Orientation will take place on Thursday, August 20, for new first-year students and transfer students who did not attend Orientation in June.
Move in: Students participating in August Orientation will move in Wednesday, August 19.
Counseling Services are here for the journey of our future leaders. The college experience is not just an academic experience; it is also a time marked by change, uncertainty, discovery, growth and resilience. Students come with excitement and ambition, but often also stress, self-doubt, grief, anxiety, family concerns, identity questions and the weight of expectations — their own and others’. Here are five ways Quinnipiac Counseling Services support your journey here.

Join parents, alumni, families and friends for a weekend filled with connection, celebration and unmistakable Quinnipiac pride: October 2 to 4.
It's a great opportunity for parents to spend the weekend with their student getting to know the campus and university through a carefully curated series of events.
Events include coffee with President Hardin, Boomer's Harvest Festival and a 5K.
The next few weeks will be busy and a little bit stressful — but that is where Q-Start comes in. It is carefully designed with you in mind. It takes the uncertainty away from the on-boarding process and will let you know what you will need to complete and when.
Email qstart@qu.edu with any questions.
There are a lot of exciting opportunities headed your way this summer — most of which will come through your Quinnipiac email. Be sure to set it up and check it often. We also recommend adding it to your phone.
