Study Pods

Need a little peace and quiet? The study pods on the second floor of the library are designed to help block out outside distractions, making them the perfect place to lock in and focus.

The Quad

When the weather is warm, take your study session outside. The Quad gives you plenty of room to spread out, enjoy the sunshine and get some work done while still being in the center of campus life.

Adirondack Chairs by the Fireplace

Want to study outside without sitting in the grass? Grab one of the Adirondack chairs by the fireplace. With comfortable seating and views of the Sleeping Giant State Park, it’s an easy way to enjoy some fresh air while staying productive.

CCE Engineering Study Corners

For anyone who needs a little extra room to brainstorm, the engineering study corners in the Communications, Computing & Engineering building are hard to beat. The open spaces feature massive whiteboards that seem almost never-ending, making them especially useful for group projects, problem-solving or mapping out ideas.

Echlin Admissions Center Patio

Just outside the Echlin Admissions Center, you’ll find uniquely designed chairs overlooking the Quad. Even better, the covered space makes it a great outdoor study option when there is rain.

Business School Study Rooms

With snug chairs, a TV, adjustable lighting and even curtain controls, the study rooms on the first and second floors of the School of Business have just about everything you could want from a study space. Whether you’re working alone or meeting with a group, these rooms make studying feel more comfortable.

Recreation and Wellness Center

A study session is always a little better with a smoothie nearby. Grab something from Shake Smart and settle into one of the seating areas on the first floor of the Recreation and Wellness Center for a convenient spot to catch up on work between classes or activities.

Student Center Rotunda

Right outside the Student Government Association suite, the second-floor Rotunda offers a circular seating area that’s great for getting some work done. Its open setup makes it especially convenient for meeting with classmates or fitting in a quick study session.

Piazza

Located on the first floor right beneath Starbucks, the Piazza offers plenty of space to settle in and get to work. Its central location also means you’re only a short trip upstairs from a coffee break when you need one.
